Real estate giant Nakheel Properties has unveiled a new logo. Experts think that this week the company will make important announcements about the status of previously frozen projects.

Previously, the developer relaunched Palm Deira, renaming it Deira Islands and then Dubai Islands.

Dubai Islands (formerly known as Deira Islands) will cement the emirate’s position as a global destination for residents, visitors and investors

Each island will have its own unique offerings with innovative living conditions, recreational sports beaches, all in one interconnected location, close to the city and the airport.

More than 80 resorts and hotels will be located on the islands, including luxury and wellness resorts, family and eco-friendly hotels.

There is a possibility that Nakheel will make an important announcement about the status of the Palm Jebel Ali project, which was put on hold in 2008.
